Olivia's Special Horses is an Irish charity, established in September 2014. The founder of Olivia's Special Horses is Emma Donoghue. Emma has worked within the equine industry for over 20 years and has developed an extensive knowledge within her field. Emma set up the charity in memory of her daughter, Olivia Doyle who sadly passed away at the age of 11 in February 2014.
Despite Olivia's profound disabilities she had a huge love for horses and outdoor life. This prompted her mother Emma Donoghue to pursue a career in Therapeutic Horse Riding, Emma knows from personal experience how valuable Therapeutic Horse Riding is for children with special needs.

Thanks to Olivia, many other children and adults with physical and cognitive disabilities are being helped by Emma and her colleagues at the charity.
